  • Overview and Responsibilities

    For college graduates who are interested in going far with their careers in hospitality management, B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group offers a 12-month self-directed, comprehensive management training program. The training program is rotational, allowing you to understand each department while developing your management skills.


    Duties & Responsibilities: This position will rotate through the hotel(s). The management trainee will gain hands-on, relative experience and management skills while working in one or more of the following departments:

    • Human Resources
    • Front Office
    • Housekeeping
    • Restaurant/Room Service
    • Banquets
    • Kitchen
    • Engineering
    • Accounting
    • Sales/Catering


    The trainee will be required to meet regularly with each of their department heads and will be required to successfully complete each departmentally specific training checklist before advancing to the next department/position. This position will attend all supervisory and management training courses provided by the hotel(s) and the Company. This position will also participate in all meetings conducted in the hotel and specific department in which they are working at the time.


    • 4-year college degree in hospitality or a related field
    • Hands-on experience in the hospitality field (internships or work experience)
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Must be geographically flexible
