  • Overview and Responsibilities

    The Operations Administrative Assistant must be a highly motivated individual who is eager and ready to accept additional responsibilities as needed. In this role, the individual will provide strategic support to the Hotel’s General Manager, Director of Rooms, Director of Food and Beverage and Human Resources Manager.

    Some duties will include supporting the management team in their administrative functions within the hotel, leading various hotel projects, filing, taking operations meeting notes and providing follow up to support each department’s operations, lead management of social media to increase our presence in the Tysons market . The ideal candidate has a friendly and energetic demeanor, and strong technological skills – including the ability to learn new computer systems. Being able to multitask, and complete projects in a timely manner is required. This person should also demonstrate exceptional customer service and problem solving skills. 

    This is not your ordinary administrative role, the Operations Administrative Assistant will have the opportunity to jump in and assist with guests as needed, a great opportunity to learn the hotel operation and contribute to its success. We are looking for someone who wants to continue to grow and learn with our hotel.

     

    Qualifications

    • Hospitality or related college degree
    • Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience managing projects)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - including the ability to write complex documents
    • Expertise with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
    • Experience with Social Media Outlets
    • Desire to satisfy needs of others in fast paced environment
    • One year of experience working in a hotel is strongly preferred.
    • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
